I know that this is a usual travel tip from anyone but just hear me out why I'm making this advice again for the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics. Last December it was in the news of Business Insider that Tokyo will have a shortage of accommodations for the Summer Olympics. They are already looking for alternative solutions to accommodate the flood of visitors that will be coming for this year's Olympics. Some of the cruise ships will serve as hotels for the Olympics which is really nice, a very good strategy for accommodation. It's like having instant hotels that are only one call away. Just imagine that kind of response to this situation, it means hotels are running out of accommodations for that date so if you have any plans of booking on a specific hotel, I suggest you do so now before they run out of availability.
