Okay, so I've been to Osaka prefecture before and I'm telling you that what made my trip there really easy is the Japan tickets that I've used. There are single use tickets that you can buy which would really save you a lot of money. However, I would still advice that you get tickets with unlimited usage so that you won't be stressed if you want to go to a place and then have to decide whether you should buy another single ticket or not. I bought a Japan Rail Pass and it made travel easier. Now, I'm surprised to see that there are now travel websites who are offering JR Pass for the whole Japan. Wow! This would be really useful so it's great to have this option. Let me just remind you that if in case you're only traveling in one prefecture or region, then there are JR Passes that are less expensive but are already applicable to that region. So, only buy a JR Pass for the Whole Japan if ever you're gonna stay there for a longer period of time and go to other regions.
