Suica or Pasmo? :D

This is just a random question that I really want to ask you guys? Which one do you use and why?
I think there are no differences between these 2 cards, right?
Why do I feel like, most Japanese people use Suica and foreigners to use Pasmo? Or this is just a random case? Do you guys found anything more convenient or beneficial about those 2 cards?

I have used both of these but there's honestly no difference! But I'm more of a suica user and I usually go in Japan as a tourist. I think its because I find JR lines foreigner friendly (they are cheaper usually) so I tend to gravitate towards their product. But literally no difference other than where you bought it. And the colors! I love Pasmo's pink!
