Inane Japanese Food Shows

Have you seen Japanese TV, endless shows about cooking or should I say eating, and there's always a small square or two in the corner of the tv screen where you can see the guests faces reacting with wide eyed glee to yet another sugoi food situation. yaaaaawn give me a break

Wow, Catnip, you know Japanese TV program very well.
I haven’t think about such a way, but actually, we have lots of food program, is it not common In other countries?
And about reaction in small square, we called wipe, which is quite popular way for several years in Japan.
I quite like it though, as the celebrity`s reaction is quite interesting, and funny.
But, maybe too much.

That's common in Korenan,Japanese even Chinese food tv shows. They are into "reaction" moments, where they replay the reaction twice or more when the hosts or guests shout in surprise,excitement etc.
