  • Why is Studio Ghibli so awesome?

I like watching anime, and there are so many great series out there, but with anime films, I've noticed that Studio Ghibli is basically the only thing we hear about outside Japan. I know that there are films that tie-in to anime series, and that there are other studios (I like the studio behind The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, Summer Wars and that one about wolf children). But Studio Ghibli is held to be the very best, and I've heard that the films get shown on TV in Japan all the time. So what is it that makes them extra special?
Personally, I think it's the fact that they are all set in immersive worlds. You care about the characters and the story, and they look amazing.
By the way, my favourites are Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind and Princess Mononoke.

Lots of foreigner give a compliments for Japanese cartoons, especially for Ghibli animation, which is good feeling as a Japanese.
I also quite like Ghibli series, I don`t know why Gibri series attracts not only kids but also adults.
It`s a magic we can easily into stories, character is always adorable, friendly, and view is beautiful.
I never been to Ghibli museum in Mitaka, but I want to go next time!

I think this is the real reason. Somehow Studio Ghibili found a way to create these beautiful worlds that's better than what anyone can imagine. And of course the stories they told are really amazing. The first one that I watched was Princess Mononoke. The drawings are spectacular but you'd really be thinking what the movie is about. Just imagine, there's really no good or bad in that movie. If you help the humans, you'll be paving the way for the destruction of nature. If you help the gods of the animals, you'd be putting humans to their end. It's this kinds of things that would really stay in your mind.
