  • Need more varieties in Japanese Food!

    I might get heat on these but I am really finding it hard to find varieties in Japanese food.

    I mean, YES. They do have different kinds of ramen and it was made in a different way: BUT IT IS STILL RAMEN.

    Or the KATSU Foods: its still fried meat covered with rice flour and stuff.

    I definitely enjoy them but it will definitely make me insane to eat them repeatedly everyday!

    Not to mention there are areas that are hard to find foods from other countries to begin with, PLUS. It is more expensive! I kid you not: you'll be surprise how expensive pasta food (not in combinis) in Japan. It doesn't help that there is a possibility that it won't taste good or just taste different.

    I actually kinda agree with you... but I think I too love my home country foods that I might think Japanese food is too lame for me:'/ ... I still find they are delicious but it's not many choices for me. I think this also the effect of culture? I guess. I still cook dishes from my home country and barely go to a Japanese restaurant.
