I don't live in Japan but I have been visiting them for work and I am highly reliant to Google Maps. But I find it annoying that in remote places, the maps tends to fluctuate or not function or points you to the wrong direction. Is it a connection problem maybe?

Yes, I believe this is the connection problem or some mistakes... but then it will ok. I have to admit that not only me but my friends and Japanese friends, they use Google Maps every day and this is the most powerful and helpful tools to help people travel around. There might be faults sometimes but its only 10%. This app this very qualified and punctuate. You can reliant on this app :'> Just check the connection or wait a minute. Good luck @travelmonkey
