One of the beautiful places in Japan to visit...

I asked one of my friends which one he would recommend and he told me,
KANAZAWA
You should visit Kenrokuen as it has one of the best landscape gardens.
Anyone been there? Care to share your experience or some pictures of the place?

Hi.

I have been to Kanazawa around 4 to 5 times. But I have never got a chance to travel much as I have gone only for business trips. Still, whatever I have seen till now there, I highly recommend it for travelling. Even if you don't got to Kenrokuen, just the normal scenic beauty everywhere is outstanding! Kanazawa is known as "EDO OF NORTH"; that means its just like the KYOTO city, but in northern Japan. The old temples, traditional Japanese houses, beautiful cute Niwas and the whole town is magnificent!

I will be visiting Kanazawa again in April this year. I wish I would be able spare some time for sightseeing!
